For a new rule, I would propose a shorter season before playoffs. I have two ideas on this.
Idea #1; We only play our division x2 instead of x3.
Idea #2: We keep the x3 division games, and we instead alternate years on which out of division group we play.
Both cut down the same # of games.
I would follow this up with a modification to the call up rules as a separate rules proposal. This would keep our active rosters smaller, but allow more flexibility on who we call up and down, removing the 8 games rule in place of just "rested" status for the last leg of games.
Im convinced after the past two years that keeping our amount of games as they are will end the league and we will lose many more managers. A shorter season I believe will keep the league intact at its current membership.

I am not sure I agree, baseball is suppose to be a long season sport. If we cut it down eventually it will be like a football season. People are going to get busy. it happens to all of us. But that is why they can play online.
BTW have we lost a manager?

I should add a better solution is just making sure we have the right teams based on where they live in the right divisions.
Also making sure we penalize people who do not make an effort to get games done on time.
