Regular Season Champions & IMBA World Series Champions

Just looked at the last 10 years of the IMBA, and usually the regular season champion has NOT won the World Series. Although, it did happen twice in 2011 by Anthony C and his Strife and the Goats in 2012. The Strife have to be the best team of the last 10 years, as only the Strife have won 2 World Series (No one else has more than 1) and has won the regular season 3 times. (Monks were only other team to do that more than once, with 2) It always makse for great discussion. I think I may be the only regular season champion to not win a playoff game as I got swept by the Beach. Here is what I saw...

2010: Regular Season Champion: Strife 70-38 World Series Champion: Murder
2011: Regular Season Champion: Strife 72-36 World Series Champion: Strife
2012: Regular Season Champion: Goats 72-36 World Series Champion: Goats
2013: Regular Season Champion: Pandas 75-33 World Series Champion: Beach
2014: Regular Season Champion: Monks 74-34 World Series Champion: Hitmen
2015: Regular Season Champion: Vandals 63-45 World Series Champion: Nine
2016: Regular Season Champion: Machine 70-38 World Series Champion: Strife
