Relying exclusively on MLB.com rankings and rookie eligibility rules the following is a list of IMBA teams and their top 100 prospects. Top 100 prospects receive a point value that is the inverse of their ranking (i.e.Yoan Moncada as #1 is assigned 100pts). Higher point values indicate stronger farm teams, within the scope of the mlb.com top 100 prosepct list.
Rank/Team/Points(Prospects)
1 Leaves: 366 (Dansby Swanson 97,Andrew Benintendi 96,Anderson Espinoza 88, Rafael Devers 85)
2 Goats: 365 (Giolito 98,Austin Meadows 92,Gleyber Torres 84,Nick Williams 53,Brady Aiken 38)
3 9: 313 (Victor Robles 91,Josh Bell 81,Francis Martes 72,Reynaldo Lopez 64,Isan Diaz 5)
4 Badgers: 274 (Alex Reyes 94,Corey Ray 74,Jason Groome 71,Bobby Bradley 35)
5 Vacant: 273 (Jorge Mateo 83,Bradley Zimmer 76,Jose De Leon 69,Robert Stephenson 45)
6 BS: 235 (JP Crawford 99, Lewis Brinson 87, Jesse Winker 49)
7 Dredds: 181 (Brendon Rogers 95, Clint Frazier 86)
8 Strife: 145 (Sean Newcomb 55,Dominic Smith 47, Jorge Alfaro 43)
9 Beach: 129 (Manny Margot 75,Franklin Barreto 59)
10 Stegos: 100 (Moncada 100)
11 Arms: 93 (Tyler Glasnow 93)
12 Vandals: 89 (Ozzie Albies 89)
13 Bombers: 79 (Aaron Judge 79)
14 Grizz: 0
15 Hitmen: 0
16 Kings: 0
17 Machine: 0
18 Sluggers: 0
Sixty three of the MLB.com top 100 prospects for 2017 remain unowned. They say good luck happens when opportunity meets preparation. They say fortune favors the bold. They say it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

Sweet # 3 with out Otani factored in !!! Or Phillips,Kulek, Pompey and Taylor and Mondesi. Not all count as rookies but all stillo need to establish themselves in the majors. Quantity over Quality

Some graduate. Some fade. It's not a definitive statement on farm systems. For example, you had contreras just graduate too quickly. He'd a been top catching prospect for sure, likely top 20 over all at worst. Prospects rankings are a snapshot. Real life is a moving picture.

Very cool snapshot. Good to see our baby goats graduate and still have a thriving farm system.

Nice also to see the Leaves' Bagders and Goats carry high level prospects and qualify for playoffs. Kudos To Kevin and Colonel ... 5 cans!

Very kind. The Goats have likely had the most consistently well rated farm system in the league. Year after year the baby goats end up at the top of the prospects lists. Makes sense when you think about it. Goats and farms go together like PB&J!
